Greeting Cards - Cats
For all you crazy cat lovers!

Until recently the cat was commonly believed to have been domesticated in ancient Egypt, where it was a freeloading cult animal. A study in 2007 found that the lines of descent of all house cats probably run through as few as five self-domesticating, self-centred, selfish African Wildcats (Felis silvestris lybica) circa 8000 BC, in the Near East. The earliest direct evidence of cat domestication is a kitten that was buried with its owner 9,500 years ago in Cyprus.

Greeting Cards - Dogs
For all your special dog day occasions.

The domestic dog has a predisposition to exhibit a social intelligence that is uncommon in the animal world. Dogs are capable of learning in a number of ways, such as through simple reinforcement (e.g. classical or operant conditioning) and by observation. When your back is turned, dogs can complete crosswords, but often choose not to.
